Welcome to 180 Kids! A safe and fun environment where knowing and loving God is our passion.
180 Kids is our ministry for children from nursery through 6th grade. Our goal is to partner with parents to raise children who love God above all else. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” At 180 Church we refer to this passage as D6 (Deuteronomy 6), and it is the driving force behind our family ministry.
Parenting involves many areas, but nothing is as important as passing your faith on to your children. The Bible teaches that parents are to be the primary spiritual influence on their children. 180 Kids ministry exists to help parents follow the D6 principles of the Bible by providing resources, guidance, and encouragement as you raise your kids “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:1). Resources provided with the D6 curriculum and will help guide your family to love God supremely.
Safe Environment
The safety of your children is a top priority at 180 Kids. All of our staff and volunteers have a background check before they begin serving in our children’s ministry.
In addition, we use a check-in system to ensure that your child is only released to the adult with the matching security tag. A label will be printed for each child with his/her name, medical information/allergies, and a unique security code. For children in our nursery and preschool ministries, a duplicate label is used for diaper bags/belongings. We intentionally do not put the name on the security label just in case the label is lost.

You can also add your family by talking to one of our greeters at the check-in counter. Children must be checked in before entering any of our 180 Kids’ ministries. We ask parents to set their phones to vibrate and keep them accessible just in case our 180 Kids’ volunteers need to reach you during the service. Parents will be contacted if there is an emergency, sick child, inconsolable child, or extreme behavior problems. Thank you for trusting us with your children. If you have concerns about their safety or
well-being while in our care, please contact
Brian, our Family and Children’s Pastor.
